Dear Reader,

Everyday our lives are saturated with the jurisdiction of choices. The choice to take a new route to work, the choice to eat breakfast in the morning, etc. Those choices are instrumental in carving out the lives we choose to live. My decision to create this blog came from alleviating the feeling of nothingness I’d grown accustomed to amidst the global pandemic.
Ever since I was little, writing has been an outlet for me to release my creative and worldly inhibitions. The choice to move to it off the pages of a notebook tucked away in my childhood bedroom to a blog for anyone to see was a daunting task. Nonetheless, little did I realize that allowing a peak into my head created a space for conversation within my community.
My intention with this blog is to create a place for readers to see the unfiltered and unglorified moments as a young person and in my community. Here I lay the ugly, the beautiful, and everything in between. Working through our growing pains, dramatically shifting environments, and creating and modifying our personas, I hope this blog provides you a place to reflect on yourself and how your choices are influential in the person you are becoming and the place you are serving.
